Michael S. Ledford, CLU, ChFC, RICP
Mike has been in the financial services industry his entire career. After working for major life insurance companies, he founded his own business, Ledford Planning Service, in 1984. Mike has assisted a wide variety of clients over the years with their overall financial planning. His areas of specialization are estate planning, retirement income planning, business succession, and income protection.
His professional memberships include: Society of Financial Service Professionals, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the Estate Planning Council of Chattanooga, TN.
Mike graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1984, he earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. Also in 1984, he was a Charter recipient of the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation. In 2014 he received the American College's newest designation, Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP).
Mike and his wife, Vickie, have been married since 1976 and are the parents of two daughters, Rebecca and Meredith. Mike enjoys playing golf with his clients in his free time.
